Friday started quietly but the crowd soon increased as we got through our first set. Darren had a touch of sphincter flu and was struggling with his vocal chords but he did exceptionally well to sing at all based on the coughing he was doing. Our 2nd set was much better as the crowd filled the dance floor from the outset and threw some weird and wonderful dance moves throughout. Our last set is always my favourite in Foxes and once again the sing-a-long’s and dancing kept us motivated right to the bitter end. We popped through to The Den after we had packed up for a sneaky pint then headed off to Tesco’s for some munch before bed.
Saturday was an absolute belter, we hadn’t played for 4 weeks prior due to Robbie sunning himself in California so were a little rusty on the Friday however by the Saturday we were ready to rock. We had a full dance floor from the beginning and it got more and more rammed as the night went on. We had some strange songs requests Meatloaf and Beyonce to name but a few. Our wheel of cheese went down a treat as per usual but the last set once again seemed to be everyone’s favourite. We finished off the night with our usual batch of indie anthems and topped it off with 500 miles. The best bit of the night was the sing-a-long to James’ Sit Down. We stayed abehind again for a pint before Ian and I headed round the corner for some well earned pizza. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
